Built by E.W. Grove, the visionary and creator of the Grove Park Inn, the Grove Arcade opened in 1929 and thrived until World War II as one of the country's leading public markets. The historically renovated Grove Arcade reopened to the public in 2002 as a destination featuring boutique shopping, exciting dining and regional crafts in a beloved downtown architectural wonder.
Hours
The Grove Arcade is open Monday thru Saturday 10am-6pm and noon - 5pm on Sundays. Restaurants are open earlier and/or later depending on the establishment.

A-B Tech Annual Spring Exhibition
Opening Reception: Friday, April 25; 5 to 8 p.m.

On Friday, April 25, the Grove Arcade ARTS & Heritage Gallery will open the 5th Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College Annual Spring Exhibition featuring work from students in drawing, design, painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture and computer generated art. The Annual Exhibition is the capstone project for the program for the year and the 2007/2008 juror is Wendy Outland, a local arts consultant. Students are limited to three pieces; typically between 50 and 60 pieces are selected for display.

Featuring A Special Arbor Day Celebration with Quality Forward

The Grove Arcade’s 6th annual Flower Show will take place Saturday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, from noon to 5:00 p.m. inside and outside the historic building. Parking
The first hour is
FREE! M-F 10am-7pm at the Wall Street, Rankin, and Civic Center parking garages.
Saturday parking is $1.00 all day at the Rankin Parking Garage, $2.00 all day at Wall Street, and $1.00 all day at the Civic Center Parking Garage (unless a Civic Center event occurs).
