True Confections specializes in all-natural, made-from-scratch baked goods made on the premises. We also serve organic teas and locally roasted coffee and espresso, a limited lunch menu and special occasion cakes and dessert trays. Winter months bring homemade soups while summer months bring homemade ice cream and sorbets.
Owner Carole Miller has been in the food industry for more than 35 years, having earned degrees in nutrition from Miami University and culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America. She has worked in most facets of the industry from hotels to hospitals to universities to country clubs as well as many different restaurants before deciding to open her own bakery and cafe. She is most proud of her all natural products made using no artificial ingredients or flavorings and no shortening or margarine. She serves the finest locally roasted coffees and whole leaf organic teas.
