Built by E.W. Grove, the visionary and creator of the Grove Park Inn, the Grove Arcade opened in 1929 and thrived until World War II as one of the country's leading public markets. The historically renovated Grove Arcade reopened to the public in 2002 as a destination featuring boutique shopping and exciting dining in a beloved downtown architectural wonder.

Hours The Grove Arcade is open Monday thru Saturday 10am-6pm and noon - 5pm on Sundays. Restaurant hours vary by establishment.

Fine Arts League Gallery Student Exhibition

Friday, July 30, 5:30 to 7:30

The Grove Arcade is pleased to have faculty and students from The Fine Arts League in Suite 115 in a satellite gallery. If you haven't seen this new Gallery yet, the student show is a perfect opportunity. Appalachian landscapes, portraits, sculptures and frescoes will be on display. All are welcome to support the students and faculty and their hard work! The event will feature music, a live portrait drawing spectacle, wine, and friends. Saturday parking is $1.00 all day at the Rankin Parking Garage, $2.00 all day at Wall Street, and $1.00 all day at the Civic Center Parking Garage (unless a Civic Center event occurs).
